Honda Amaze has crossed the 200,000 sales milestone in India since its launch in 2013. Amaze compact sedan was the first product in India to get the diesel engine and also mark Honda’s entry in diesel segment.

The Amaze which is available in both petrol and diesel has been the second best selling product in the Japanese model line-up after the City sedan.

The Amaze received a facelift and was launched in March 2016. The facelift comes with updates to the front like new headlamps, grille, bumper and rear tail lamps. The interiors have received a major update which includes a new dashboard and upholstery.

Amaze is now comes equipped with the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), and is the first petrol car in its class to offer advanced CVT technology.

The Honda Amaze is available in 4 grades in both petrol and Diesel. – E, S, SX and VX in Manual Transmission. Additionally, CVT Transmission is available in S and VX petrol grades. The New Amaze is offered in 7 colors – New and Exclusive Bluish Titanium Metallic, Carnelian Red Pearl, Urban Titanium Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Taffeta White and Orchid White Pearl.

The Amaze competes with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Volkswagen Ameo, Tata Zest Hyundai Xcent and Ford Figo Aspire.

Honda is also developing the next gen Brio/Amaze platform which is expected to be launched in 2018 and will feature better interiors and technology as compared to the outgoing model.
