Hyundai Motor India second larget car manufacturer and the largest passenger car exporter, launched its Global SUV ‘The All New Tucson –in India consolidating its SUV line-up for the aspirational Indian customers.

Hyundai has 3 SUVs on offer for the Indian market which includes the Creta, Santa Fe and bridging the gap is the new Tucson.

Styling & Design

The SUV gets Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 Design Philosophy which expresses progressive spirit and passion with modern and confident presence giving it a distinctive look.

The front is dominated by the Hyundai signature Hexagonal front grille, which connects with the Dual Barrel LED headlamps to create a distinctive identity. A wing-shaped horizontal bar at the front bumper along with the LED Daytime Running Lights gives a unique character.

The rear profile has a clean design accented by slim tail lights.

Exterior Dimensions

The SUV is large and comes with 18inch alloy wheels which will help to glide on the Indian roads.

The interior is simple and focuses on functional design. The use of silver detailing on center fascia with soft touch crash pad enhances the premium appeal of the interior. Smart packaging provides absolute comfort with its plush interiors, generous front and rear legroom, and ample shoulder room for all passengers.

The Tucson is powered by options of two engines – 2.0 Nu Dual VTVT Petrol Engine and the 2.0 R e-VGT Diesel Engine which is new to the Hyundai engine line-up.

Engine & Transmission 

Transmission options include a 6-Speed Manual & Automatic Transmission that delivers quick, efficient shifts and high fuel efficiency.

The Manual Transmission (MT) comes with Flex Steer to allow drivers to switch among normal and sport modes for steering response depending on the road conditions & driver preference.
