The Alpha disk brake version gets different colors and decals from the regular variants which are available in dual tone and single colors.
The Alpha scooter is powered by air cooled 113 cc engine with a (CVT) continuously variable transmission. Max power is 5.3 kW(7.2 PS) / 7500 r/min and Maximum torque is 8.1 N.m(0.8kgf.m) / 5000 r/min.
The BS24 carburettor with Throttle Positioning (TPS) and Yamaha’s engine concept idea Blue Core delivers outstanding running performance, excellent fuel efficiency and good emission quality.
In terms of styling the scooter comes with chrome finish on the front fender and rear view mirrors.
The Scooter comes with a flat and long seat, easy leg reach with a seat height of 775 mm. The under seat storage space is 21 litres and can easily hold can hold most full-face helmets. The tail area of the under-seat space is designed to hold on-board tools and small items such as a waste cloth.
