Tata Hexa launch in October, new flagship model to set new benchmark in terms of ride quality, fit and finish for Tata cars.

Tata Motors Hexa SUV has been spotted without any camouflage and seems to be the production model. Thanks to one of our friends for sharing the pics of the SUV.

The production model retains all the design cues from the concept model and will be see a festive season launch.

The big news is that the SUV dealership shipments have begun and the media drives too. The Hexa spotted in the pictures looks stunning in dark blue paint shade.

Exciting news around the Hexa is the aggressive price. If some rumours are to be believed the SUV will be priced from Rs. 10.99 lakhs going upto Rs. 15 lakhs for the top variant.

The Hexa is Tata’s answer to the ever growing UV segment in India. The Hexa will come in as a replacement to Tata Aria which didn’t quite make the cash registers ringing.

The Hexa will feature Connectnext infotainment system which is going to be more advanced than that offered on the Zest, Automatic climate control,6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control, powerful projector beam automatic headlamps and rain sensing wipers and LED DRLs in front, LED position lamps, large 19-inch alloy wheels and many more features.

Terrain response will be features on the new SUV a feature found on the Land Rovers.

The Terrain Response System (TRS) can be controlled from one single knob at the centre console of the car, and it comes with four different driving modes, which are Comfort, Dynamic, Rough and Auto mode.

The vehicle will be powered by the 2.2 lit VARICOR engine churning out 150ps of power and 400 nm of torque. This will come mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The company is also considering an auto gear.

The Hexa will compete with the likes of Toyota Innova Crysta, Mahindra XUV500 and Hyundai Creta.
