Classic car enthusiasts and the public are in for a treat as Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Ltd (IPSCDL) teams up with the Goa Vintage & Classic Vehicles Club for a special heritage event.
Titled “Timeless Wheels on Heritage Goan Streets,” the showcase will take place on May 2nd in Panaji’s historic Campal district.
Event Highlights:
- 9:00 AM – Assembly of Vintage & Classic vehicle’s at Francisco Luis Gomes Garden, Campal Panjim
- 9:00 -12:00 PM – Display of vehicles
- The Rally Flagoff: The classic car parade will kick off at 12:00 PM from F.L. Gomes Garden in Campal.
- The Route: The vehicles will cruise through the scenic parts of Panjim
- Public Display: Following the rally, the exquisite collection of vintage automobiles will remain on display for public viewing until approximately 3:00 PM.
The Vision Behind the Event: According to Sandip Jacques, MD and CEO of IPSCDL, the initiative is designed to connect citizens with the rich history of automotive design while breathing life into the city’s urban spaces. By combining Goa’s classic heritage with modern infrastructure, the organizers hope to provide the community with a unique experience that is both nostalgic and forward-looking.
