Yamaha Fazer 25 launched, deliveries start by September 2017

India Yamaha Motor launched the much awaited Fazer 25 touring motorcycle in the Indian market.

Continuing the success and popularity of the FZ Series, the all new Fazer 25 is designed to deliver riding comfort during long distance rides and high fuel efficiency.

The motorcycle is developed targeting the youngsters in their 20s and early 30s.

 The Fazer is essentially the FZ25 with a full fairing and design tweaks for better touring comfort. The is powered by an air-cooled, 249 cc, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, single-cylinder, a fuel-injected engine similar to the one available on the FZ25 street naked.

The engine delivers maximum power output of 20.9 PS at 8,000 rpm and maximum torque of 20 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The bike gets a 5-speed gearbox as compared to a 6 speed offered on the Bajaj Pulsar RS200.

 The new Fazer 25 will be available at Yamaha dealerships in 2 exciting colour schemes – “Soulful Cyan” and “Rhythmic Red”.

The quarter litre motorcycle comes with LED headlamps, LED DRLS, LCD instrument cluster, stepp

ed seat, and a small windshield on the front.

The Fazer 25 uses 41 mm telescopic front suspension with a link-less monocross setup at the rear. Brakes are disc at both ends with a 282 mm front and 220 mm rear disc. The bike however misses out on ABS. The tourer is about 6 kgs heavier compared to the FZ25 and weigs 154kgs.

The 250cc Fazer is priced at Rs. 1,29,335 Ex-showroom Delhi and Rs. Ex-showroom Mumbai.
