Volkswagen has updated the Polo range with new features. The MY 2015 Polo now comes with new features like cruise control, cooled glove box, electrically foldable ORVMs with turn indicators.
The new features will be available across 1.2-litre MPI, 1.2-litre GT TSI, 1.5-litre TDI and 1.5-litre GT TDI engines.

The Volkswagen Polo hatch is available with a choice of petrol & diesel engines. The Polo 1.2 is powered 3-Cylinder In-line 1198cc petrol engine which develops 75 Ps (55 kW) @ 5400 max power and max torque of 110 Nm @ 3750. The new 1.5 TDi develops high power of 90 Ps (66kW) @ 4200 and torque of 230 Nm @ 1500 – 2500. Both engines are mated to a five speed manual transmission and return fuel efficiency of 16.47 kmpl (1.2 petrol) and 20.14 kmpl (1.5 diesel).
Both enthusiasts VW has launched the Polo GT which is available with a 1.2 TSI petrol engine and 1.5 TDI diesel engine. The Polo GT TSI comes with a 1.2L TSI Engine coupled to a 7-speed DSG which helps to shift gears smoothly and very quick. This engine develops max power of 105 Ps (77kW) @ 5000 rpm and max torque of 175 Nm @ 1500-4100 rpm. The Polo GT TDI is powered by the same 1.5 TDI engine but produces higher power of 105 Ps (77Kw) @ 4400 rpm and torque of 250 Nm @ 1500-2500.
Fuel efficiency for the Polo GT TSI is 17.21 and Polo GT TDI is 19.91 kmpl. The Polo GT TSI comes with additional features such as Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP) and Hill-hold control.
The Cross Polo comes with the same engine options available on the standard Polo with difference mainly on the exteriors which are Cross grille with chrome accent, Cross bumpers, silver roof rails, black side cladding and wheel arches.
