Volkswagen celebrated the onset of the New Year by delivering 500 cars on a single day in the region. Adding to the fervor on this auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa and Ugadi, Volkswagen also offered attractive benefits to customers on the purchase of a brand new Volkswagen carline. Volkswagen currently offers the Polo, Ameo, Vento, GTI, Tiguan and all-new Passat in India. The automaker has also recently introduced a new 1-litre petrol engine for the Polo that replaces the existing 1.2-litre engine in its line up. The company claims the smaller engine enhances the fuel efficiency of the car without any compromise on power or performance.
The mega delivery programme received an overwhelming response across the region further encouraging the brand to work towards regional market developments.
