TVS is planning a strong comeback in the two wheeler segment and plans to launch new product every quarter. The company recently launched the Jupiter scooter and betting high on the scooter segment which has seen the highest growth in the two wheeler market.
TVS Motor Company Chairman and Managing Director Venu Srinivasan said, the company also plans to launch an upgraded version of its highly popular scooterette Scooty — ‘Scooty Zest’ in January 2014. The company plans to expand the Scooty range which has been the bread and butter in this segment for TVS motors.
The Scooty scooterette has been a very successful brand for TVS since launch and is the preferred choice for young girls. TVS currently sells the Scooty Pep+ and Scooty Streak in addition to the new Jupiter & Wego scooters.
