Tata Motors Zest completes 2 years since launch in Indian market.

Tata Motors have introduced a new limited edition of the zest compact sedan, christened as Zest Sports Edition.

The Tata Zest Sports edition is launched to commemorate 2 years in the Indian market and also to celerate 50,000 units milestone.

The Zest Sports Edition comes with Sporty Red, Black & Grey graphics, Red front, side & Rear skriting, Red color ORVMs, Rain visors and alloy wheels.

The company is also offering special EMI schme of Rs. 3,999 per month, free insurance worth Rs. 33,000, Exchange bonus of worth Rs. 30,000 and other benefits upto Rs. 68,000.

The Sports Edition Kit is a dealer fitment and can be installed on any variant.

The Zest is powered by a Revotron 1.2T turbo petrol engine which delivers high power of 90PS @ 5000 RPM and peak torque of 140 Nm @ 1750-3500 RPM. A unique first-in-segment ‘Multi-Drive Mode’ technology enables switching between SPORT, ECO and CITY mode, along with a superior throttle response is available on the Revetron engine.

The diesel options include a 75 PS tune for the base variant and 90PS @ 4000 RPM and 200 Nm @ 1750 -3000 for the higher variants. The diesel engine also gets an option of an AMT making it the first sedan in India to offer a diesel automatic in its segment. The AMT will have dual drive modes – City and Sport mode.

The Zest will be available in four trims in Petrol – XE, XM, XMS and XT and five trims in Diesel – XE, XM, XMS, XMA (AMT) and XT.

Tata Zest is the first all-new car, to roll-out, under the Horizonext strategy. The product was developed based on three core vectors of Designext, Drivenext and Connectnext. It has been the most awarded car in 2014 and has contributed significantly to the passenger vehicle sales.

The Zest competes witht Marui Swift Dzire, Ford Figo Aspire, Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze and recently launched Volkswagen Ameo.
