At the MUNICIPALIKA 2018 event to be held at Bombay Exhibition Center, Goregaon – Mumbai from 19th to 21st September 2018, Tata Motors will showcase its Integrated Waste Management Customised Solutions meant to tackle the urban waste in India. The products on display will demonstrate a diverse range of applications such as Solid and Liquid Waste Management, Water tankers and Road Sweepers, addressing the pressing needs of optimum waste management in both metropolitan cities and smaller towns. Municipalika 2018 will be a mega-networking forum for the government, local bodies and private institutions to combine their synergies to create the right-enabling environment for building better cities.

Commenting on the occasion Mr. R. T. Wasan, Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Commercial Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors Ltd. said, “Urban Waste in India is a huge problem leading to health and environmental issues. According to the World Bank, India’s daily waste generation will reach 377,000 tonnes by 2025. To address this issue, both the Private and the Government sector are coming together and working together for a Green and Clean India. We at Tata Motors have always been collaborating with the Government and have undertaken several initiatives to provide a number of smart mobility solutions for today’s Smart Cities. Our exhibits at Municipalika 2018 once again reiterate our commitment to the Swachh Bharat Mission objectives and help address the growing concerns around health and environmental issues in the country”

We have bagged the orders to supply 255 Nos of the electric buses in the first phase across 6 out of 9 cities identified for the induction of these zero emission buses.
