TATA Motors launched ts stylish sub 4 metre sedan christened TIGOR to a thunderous applause from the audience. Meant for the young and fast-paced generation, the Tigor makes a big impression with its stunning design, lively stance and exquisite interiors. The Tigor is also high on state of the art music system, technology and safety features. Creating an immediate and lasting IMPACT, Tata Motors has worked intricately on the styling of the TIGOR, the 3rd vehicle based on the IMPACT Design philosophy.
With a renewed focus on design, Tata Motors is recapturing the consumer mind space, which is helping the Company to strengthen its brand proposition. Moving away from the boring compact sedan category, TATA has developed a flamboyant sub 4 metre car classified as a Style back which is bound to disrupt the small car market in India.
The 1.2L Revetron (petrol) variant starts at INR 4.7 Lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) & INR 4.95Lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai), while the Revotorq 1.05L (diesel) variant starts at INR 5.91 lakhs,ex-showroom Mumbai.

In just over two months of the HEXA launch, Tata Motors is launching yet another innovation and an exciting offering in a new segment. The Company has trained around 6000 sales consultants to cater its new generation products like Tiago, Hexa and now the TIGOR, across 650 sales outlets and more than 500 service touch points. Tata Motors plans to add 200 sales touch points in FY 17-18.
The TIGOR flaunts a dual-coloured bumper with the Tata Signature Grille, which is accentuated with a striking chrome humanity line at the front, extending into the crystal-like, smoked projector headlamps to create the face of the car. The dynamic character lines integrate seamlessly with the signature split LED tail lamps and a stylishly integrated high mounted LED stop lamp, highlight the length of the car.
The car is intelligently designed with superior legroom and 24 utility spaces to provide ample storage to carry one’s world along.
Furthermore, the interior architecture of the car is exquisitely designed with a dual-tone cockpit, luxurious patterned seats with bolsters, a premium knitted roof liner, along with customizable air vents, lending a very upmarket and inviting feel.
Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) is designed for a light steering feel and for easy manoeuvring. The TIGOR features dual path suspension in front and on the rear for the perfect balance between a comfortable ride and superior handling.
Equipped with multiple safety features, the TIGOR has dual front airbags for maximum safety in case of a collision, an energy absorbing body structure, an advance Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Corner Stability Control (CSC) for improved braking efficiency.
Understanding the constantly evolving needs of customers, connectivity forms the core of Tata Motors’ infotainment experience. The company has worked closely with HARMANTM to design and engineer an acoustic audio and infotainment system, certified by the globally renowned Golden Ears and tuned by seasoned Harman audio experts.
The TIGOR also comes equipped with a comprehensive app suite with dedicated apps like NaviMaps and Juke Car App as well as a smart Bluetooth based remote – Tata Smart Remote. The Tata Emergency Assist app adds to the safety by sharing the co-ordinates of the vehicle and informing the emergency contacts saved in the system in case of a collision. These apps add to the connectivity experience and engagement between TIGOR and its occupant’s device.
The TIGOR will come in six exciting colour options – Copper Dazzle , Espresso Brown , Pearlescent White , Platinum Silver , Striker Blue and Berry Red.
For the TIGOR, Tata has announced a standard warranty of 2 years or 75,000km, whichever is earlier, with an option to have an extended warranty at nominal charges.
