Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) has resorted to online to push sales in India. The company has has tied up with India’s largest online marketplace Snapdeal for the sale of its vehicles.
Suzuki is the third company to sell their products via online after Hero MotoCorp and Mahindra 2 wheelers.
Snapdeal will allow customers to browse Suzuki products on the Snapdeal Motors platform, select a vehicle, book it (via online payment of booking amount) and select a dealership in their vicinity from where the vehicle can be picked up. As an initial launch offer, buyers who purchase Suzuki vehicles on Snapdeal can avail 1 year free vehicle insurance.
