Suzuki launch updated Hayate, new graphics & larger fuel tank

Suzuki Motorcycles have silently launched the 2014 Hayate 110 commuter motorcycle. There are no major changes and are limited to new graphics and a larger fuel tank. Previously the Hayate features a 8 litre fuel tank, the bike now gets a 10.5 litre tank with 2 litres of reserve.

Hayate is a Japanese word which means “Fresh Breeze” or “Swift wind”.  The Hayate commuter is powered by a 4-stroke, air-cooled, 112cc engine makes for a peppy ride. The bike comes with aluminum cast wheels and drum brakes. The Hayate is available in
6 colour options – Glass Sparkle Black- Red Graphic (YVB), Glass Sparkle Black- Blue Graphic (ACX), Pearl Mirage White (YPA), Pearl Mira Red/Glass Sparkle Black (JSP), Pearl Moon Stone Grey (YWC).

The Hayate is priced at Rs. 46,340 for the Kick Start variant and Rs. 48,495 for the Kick & Self Start- On road Delhi.

Hero MotoCopr is still the leader in the commuter segment followed by Bajaj with their Discover series & Honda’s Dream Series.

Suzuki will launch a new 110cc scooter & 150cc street naked Gixxer 150cc motorcycle on the 27th of January. Bollywood Actor Salman Khan will also be launching the Inazuma 250 which was unveiled a few days back.
