SML Isuzu will launch the new Super 12.9 XM – 12990 GVW Trucks & other XTM Series Trucks in New Delhi tomorrow (January 18). The new truck series will be unveiled by Mr. E. Seto, Managing Director & CEO.
SML Isuzu has been revamping their line-up with new features and upgraded engines. In December the company launched the XM series vehicles in the Indian market. The models include Cosmo-XM, Super 12.9 XM, Samrat HD 19 XM, Samrat Tipper XM, S7 buses with 40 and 51 seats.
The new XMT series trucks will is mainly an upgrade to the XM with most likely higher tonnage and torque. SML is betting on the Indian LCV & MHCV and expects the market to back bounce. The company plans to add more models in the future to broaden its product portfolio.
Volvo –Eicher recently unlived the new generation Pro-series trucks and Ashok Leyland also launched the new Captain Series of trucks. SML Isuzu Limited is formerly Swaraj Mazda Limited and is working towards their new strategy to be a larger player.
