Scoop – Toyota to launch upgraded Fortuner & Innova

Toyota Kirloskar Motor is going to add more features to the best-selling Innova Crysta and Fortuner SUV.

Innova Crysta

The key change across the range is the upgrade of Fog lamps from Normal to LED. The Innova range will now get Rear air conditioning from the base G variant. The GX gets four additional features such as Rear Armrest (8 Seater), Rear Cup Holder (8 Seater), Driver seat height adjust and Door ajar warning with each door display. The VX variant also gets Navigation infotainment system.

The Touring Sport too gets LED fog lamps and Idle start & Stop technology on the AT variants.

The Fortuner Automatics will also get the Idle start & Stop technology on the 4X4 AT & 4X2 AT Diesel. The 4×2 AT diesel will also get TRD SPORTIVO Suffix (the TRD kit could be offered as an optional package).

With the demand on the rise, the current waiting period for Innova has gone up to around 6-8 weeks and Fortuner is around 10-12 weeks respectively.

We can also expect a hike in price which could be coupled with the increase in CESS.
