Datsun retails 2925 units of redi-Go in June 2016.
The redi-Go entry hatch has helped Japanese car maker Datsun to become one of the fastest growing brand in the Indian market.
Redi-Go which was launched in June managed to sell approx 3000 units helping the brand for risers to register 188 % growth .
In total the company retailed – units which includes 791 units of the GO hatch and 551 units of the GO+ compact MPV.
Datsun started bookings for the redi-Go in May and the initial response has been good. Targeting first time car buyers the entry hatch is the second product on the CMF-A platform after the Renault Kwid.
Unique Japanese design elements expressing ‘YUKAN’, meaning brave and bold have been well accepted and the car looks quite fresh for its segment. It also features ‘Tall-Boy’ styling offering best-in-class ground clearance of 185 mm.
Datsun redi-GO is available at 227 Nissan and Datsun sales touchpoints across India). The car is introduced at a starting price of Rs. 2.38 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi and is available in 5 variants.

The car is powered by 800cc petrol engine developing max power and max torque. redi-GO delivers superior fuel economy of 25.17 kmpl. With the upcoming festive season the Japanese brand expects higher sales for the entry car.
