New MINI 3-door and 5-door launch in India on 19th November

BMW is all set to launch the new MINI in the Indian market on the 19th of November. The new MINI will be launched in both the avatars – 3- and 5-door versions. The 5-door MINI is an entirely new model for the British car maker and was launched globally in September this year, 6 months after the new 3-door MINI made its debut.

Both the 3-door and 5-door is identical design wise except for the rear ends. Based on the new UKL front-wheel drive architecture, the new MINI models are significantly larger than previous iterations of the iconic small car. The 3-door version measures 3,821 mm long, 1,727 mm wide, and 1,414 mm tall, whereas the 5-door measures 3,982 mm long, 1,727 mm wide and 1,425 mm tall.

MINI will most likely launch the Cooper S variant and prices could start at Rs. 27-28 lakhs. The Cooper S is powered by 2.0 4 cylinder petrol engine which develops 192 hp of max power and 280 Nm of Max torque.

The new MINI features LED headlamps with adaptive light distribution, LED indicators and LED fog lamps are unique features within the segment and 8.8 inch four-line TFT display.
