Daimler Buses India handed over four Mercedes-Benz Super High Deck (SHD) 2436 coaches to the customer SRS travels in Bengaluru. Celebrating the event at the dealership of Daimler Buses India’s partner Trident Trucking, Mr. Markus Villinger, Managing Director, Daimler Buses India handed over the keys of the four coaches to Mr. KT Rajshekhar, Founder SRS Travel.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Villinger said: “The order from SRS travel proves ones again that Daimler buses is a perfect fit for fleet owners’ requirements –luxury, fuel efficiency and reliability. The Mercedes-Benz SHD 2436 coach offers a wide range of seating options with maximum capacity of 61 pushback seats and more than 14 cubic meters of luggage space, best in class among all coaches on Indian roads. Built with a unique aluminique body which is stronger than a conventional structure, it is also the lightest in its class. It also has an advanced EBS and ESP braking system and a strategically positioned fuel tank for added safety.
