Maruti Suzuki New Dzire to launch on 16th May in 8 trims.
Maruti Suzuki has officially opened bookings for the 2017 New Dzire across all dealerships for a amount of Rs. 11,000. The new generation Dzire will be launched on 16th May and will be sold via the regular dealers.
The new Dzire will be available in four grades: L, V, Z and Z+, with Z+ coming with LED projectors, Touch screen infotainment, push button start and rear AC vent.
The new gen Dzire was unveiled this week to select media and will drop the Swift nameplate. It is first time Maruti Suzuki will launching the Dzire ahead of the new gen Swift which is expected to be introduced during the festive season.
The new compact sedan is based on the new HEARTEC platform which underpins the Baleno and the upcoming new Swift hatchback. The ‘HEARTECT’ platform makes it lighter and more fuel efficient than the outgoing car.
The new Gen Dzire will come with Airbags as standard from base variant and will most likely offer ABS & EBD from second variant.
The new Dzire is 3995mm long, 1515mm high and 1735mm wide. Wheelbase is 2,450mm. It gets a 376-litre boot.
There are no changes to the engines and the compact sedan will continue to be available with a 1.2L petrol motor developing 84 Hp and 115 Nm of torque, and the 1.3L DDiS turbodiesel with 75 Hp and 190 Nm of torque.
On the pricing front the car will be priced at least 25,000-30,000 over the current Dzire.
