Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is proud to launch its latest limited edition car, Alto 800 M.S. Dhoni Edition and Alto K10 M.S.Dhoni Edition.
The special edition cars are part of the carmaker’s association with the upcoming movie: M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.
The legendary cricketer and captain of the Indian national cricket team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and R.S. Kalsi, Executive Director Maruti Suzuki India Ltd came together to unveil the car in Hyderabad on the 24th September, 2016.
They will be available for sale from the first week of October 2016 and were launched in Hyderabad.
The special edition Alto 800 M.S. Dhoni Edition and Alto K10 M.S. Dhoni Edition has Dhoni inspired seat covers with number ‘7’, Dhoni’s signature decal and body graphics, a new music system, reverse parking sensors.
This edition is available on Alto 800 Lxi variant and Alto K10 Lxi & Vxi variants. It is offered with a choice of two colour interior combinations-Black plus Silver and Red plus Blue.
The cars with these additional features are offered at an additional price of Rs 16,777 and Rs 12,777 depending on the variants.
According to the company Alto’s association with ‘MS Dhoni-The Untold Story’ is based on the cricketer’s massive popularity which harmonizes with the credibility of Alto in India.
The cars will be available at all Maruti Suzuki dealerships from 1st of October.
Recently Maruti Suzuki also introduced the Swift Deca Edition as a tribute to one of sport’s ultimate symbols of glory – the number 10.
Alto 800 and Alto K10 combined are India’s number one car in terms of sales, but the brand has seen a drop in numbers mainly due to the launch of new models like the Renault Kwid, Datsun redi-Go and Tata Tiago. Association with M.S. Dhoni could help to strengthen the brand and increase popularity.
