Maruti new Dzire brochure leaked, variants explained

Just ahead of the launch of New Dzire, the brochure has been leaked which reveals all details of the car. The new Dzire brochure explains the variant-wise features and specifications.

The 2017 Maruti Dzire will be available in two engines and four trim levels LX, VX, ZX and ZX+. The Dzire will be available in at least 16 variants.

The base LX variants come with rear combination LED taillight, LED high mounted stop lamp, steel wheels, dual tone interiors, MID screen in the instrument cluster, roof mounted antenna, low fuel warning lights, front accessory socket, power steering with tilt adjustment and standard safety features like ABS, EBD, brake assist, dual airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchor mounts and front seatbelts with pre-tensioners and force limiters.

The VX trim in addition to LX gets chrome accents on the front grille, body coloured door handles and ORVMs, full wheel cover for the black steel rims, and ORVM mounted turn indicators.

The interiors come with faux wood and chrome inserts, tachometer, night and day adjustable IRVM, a 2-DIN audio system with USB, CD, AUX, FM/AM and Bluetooth connectivity.

The steering wheel will have integrated buttons for the music system and 4 speakers. keyless entry, rear AC vents, rear seat armrest with cup holders and accessory socket, central locking, electromagnetic boot opening, front and rear power windows, height adjustable driver seat and electrically adjustable ORVMs are the other standard feature on this trim.

The ZX trims get 15-inch alloy wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel, reverse parking sensors, rear defogger, front fog lamps, 2 tweeters in addition to 4 speakers, start/stop button, automatic climate control and electrically retractable ORVMs.

The top ZX+ trims get LED projector headlamps with DRLs, 15inch precision-cut alloy wheels, reverse parking camera and touchscreen Smartplay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Navigation.

The new Dzire will continue to be available with same engine options a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol will churn out 83 Ps @ 6,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque @ 4,200 rpm. The 1.3-litre, four-cylinder diesel will be rated at 75 Ps @ 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm @ 2,000 rpm.

Transmission options include a 5 speed manual and 5 speed AMT. Maruti has ditched the conventional torque convertor gearbox and strapped a 5 speed AMT to the petrol engine.

Prices are expected to be about Rs. 30-35,000 above the current model.
