Utility major Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced the XUV500 Sportz Limited Edition in the Indian market. Built on the W10 model, the Sportz Edition comes packed with a host of new & sporty features.
The changes are cosmetic and are limited to the exteriors only.
The Sportz limited Edition comes with the following additional features:

- Door Handle Applique
- Red Inserts On Front Fog Lamps

XUV500 Sportz Limited Edition will be made in limited numbers only.
The top end W10 variant also features- Electric Sunroof with Anti-pinch, Logo Projection Lamps on ORVMs, Push-button Start/Stop, Passive Keyless Entry, 18cm (7″) Colour Touch Screen Display with GPS, Voice Commands with Voice Recognition & SMS Read Out, Smart Rain Sensing Wipers and 6-way Power Adjustable Drivers Seat.
In terms of safety the SUV comes with Dual Airbags (Driver + Passenger), Side & Curtain Airbags, ABS, EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Rollover Mitigation, Hill Hold and Hill Descent Control and Disc Brakes on All Wheels.
The XUV500 is powered by a 2179cc mHawk140 diesel engine with 5th Generation Variable Geometry Turbocharger (VGT). The XUV also gets Micro Hybrid Technology and will be updated with new mild hybrid technology ‘Intelli-Hybrid’ which is already available on the Scorpio.
Transmission options includes 6-Speed Synchromesh Manual and 6-Speed Automatic Transmission. XUV500 has one of the widest range of automatics. The 6-Speed automatic is available on W6, W8, W10 and W10 AWD variants.
