Kawasaki Ninja 300 launched at Rs.3.5 lakhs

Bajaj launched the highly anticipated, Kawasaki Ninja 300. The Ninja 300 replaces the Kawasaki Ninja 250R which was widely regarded as the best quarter litre motorcycle by experts and enthusiasts.

The Ninja 300 combines ample power, serious torque, perfect ergonomics, nimble handling and supersport styling is priced at Rs. 3.50 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. The price does seem a little on the higher side when compared to other quarter litre bikes.

Inspired from the formidable Ninja ZX-14R and ZX-10R, the Ninja 300 is equipped with a 4-stroke Parallel Twin cylinder engine mated to a 6 speed gear box punches out 39 PS of power and 27 Nm of torque. A larger displacement 296 cm3 Parallel Twin engine produces smooth, torquey power at low and medium rpm and faster acceleration at higher rpms. Larger engine also delivers noticeably stronger torque and Power at all rpms.

Styling has been inspired from Kawasaki ZX-10R world’s fastest production bike. The Ninja sits on a new Steel-tube diamond frame which offers high strength and durability. The Assist and Slipper clutch: Based on racing technology, acts as both a back-torque limiter and self-servo mechanism that enables a lighter clutch lever pull.

A big change over the Ninja 250 R is the sporty new instrument panel design which replaces the analogue look instrument panel. Info such as fuel indicator, clock, economy and a much needed pass switch which is now also found on basic commuter bikes.

The Ninja 300 will be available with a choice of Kawasaki lime Green and Pearl Stardust White color options and will sold across all 70 Bajaj Probiking showrooms.
