Kalyani Motors, Maruti Suzuki’s dealership in Bangalore has introduced a limited edition of the Swift ‘Platinum Edition’. The modified Swift Platinum Edition comes with a number of accessories which are fitted at the dealer end and is available only on the VDi variant only.
Swift ‘Platinum Edition’ features:
- Finished in silver front grille
- Blacked-out head- with projector lights and LED daytime running lights
- Blacked-out tail-lamps
- Front and rear bumper spoilers in gloss black
- Side skirts
- Black roof
- Black finished ORVMs
- Roof-mounted spoiler
- Body decals
- Grey alloys
- Faux leather seats
- JVC audio system with four speakers
The Swift Platinum Edition is available at a premium of Rs 1.40 lakhs above the standard Vdi variant and costs Rs 7.72 lakh (ex-showroom, Bangalore). The car comes with same standard.
With sales dwindling, special editions help to maintain sales momentum and with customers demanding more features and cars which stand out of the crowd, the Platinum edition certainly makes more logic.
Maruti Suzuki has also introduced a number of special edition in the last couple of months to increase sales.
