New i30 world premiere is scheduled to be held on September 7.

Hyundai has changed the landscape of all its models globally with the company tuning up with fluidic and mature design language which strives to offer a perfect balance between style and practicality.

While in India we have got the i10 and i20, overseas the brand also sells the i30 which is another premium hatchback and is overdue for a replacement early next year.

Ahead of the global reveal at the Paris Motor Show 2016, scheduled for October 2016, Hyundai has released a couple of teaser images showcasing what the new generation i30 will look like.

Going by the teaser images the i30’s design seems to have been moved up a scale for a more contemporary design language.

While the teasers don’t really reveal what the car will look like, certain design elements like the hexagonal front grille with thick chrome border, large edgy swept back headlamps, vertically stacked LED day time running lamps are clearly visible.

Hyundai didn’t reveal the side profile yet, but the rear receives a smart and angular design inspired and evolved from the Elite i20’s rear profile.

Interiors are kept under wraps but we can expect some changes done to the dashboard along with new features along with new colours for the trim and upholstery.

Engine options for the new i30 could include a range of new turbocharged petrol and new diesel engines as well a possible inclusion of a plug in hybrid motor as well.

India launch unlikely

However despite the success of its recent models the i10 now badged Grand i10 and Elite i20 in the Indian market, it is unlikely that the premium hatch will make it to India in the current fiscal year or in the near future.
