Hyundai India Registered 2016 cumulative sales of 6,62,054 units with a growth of 2.9%.
Hyundai Motor India, achieved a new sales milestone in the Indian market by registering sales of over 5 lakhs in the Indian market for the first time. The company sold 5,00,537 units in CY 2016 registering a growth of 5.2% .
Hyundai also celebrated the roll out of 7 Millionth car in November’16 which is quite impressive as very few India companies have managed to cross this figure.
Hyundai India has been banking on the stellar performance of the Elite i20, Grand i10 and Creta which have helped the company to register good volumes.
2016 saw the launch of new Elantra and new Tucson SUV. The company will introduce the facelifted Grand i10, facelifted Xcent compact sedan, minor tweaks to the Creta and may also introduce the new small car badged as the new Santro.
