New variants of Force One SUV introduced
Force Motors have launched two new variants of the Force One SUV in the Indian market. The new line-up now includes three variants: EX, SX and LX. When launched the Force One was available in one variant only in two seating configurations: 6+Driver and 5+Driver and is now prefixed as SX.
The SX variant now comes with additional safety features such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and convenience features like driver information system, electrically operated ORVMs with side indicators, reverse parking sensors, leather seats, steering mounted audio controls and progressive cruise control. The SX variant runs on sixteen inch alloy wheels.
The LX gets all the features available on the SX in addition to 4WD system with limited slip differential t and wider 245/70 R16 tyres as compared to the EX and SX which have 235/70 R16.
The SX and LX variants are powered by the 2.2 litre Common rail Turbocharged diesel engine made under license from Daimler AG Germany and develops 141Ps is.
The EX is the entry variant and is targeted mainly at the “value minded customer” in the Tier 2 and Tier 3 towns. It is powered by the 82 Ps Mercedes OM616 derived TCIC DI Engine mated to the Mercedes G1-18 derived 5 speed synchromesh gear box.
The EX features projector head lamps, body color bumpers, wheel arches, electrically operated ORVMs, central locking, power windows with individual control, 3-row air conditioning (HVAC) and sleek tail gate spoiler with brake light.
Force Motors is offering 1 lakh or 3 years warranty and will be through exclusive Personal Vehicle Dealers across India.
