FIAT India will have some exciting products to be showcased at the coming Auto Expo. The Italian car maker will launch the Linea facelift and show case the fourth product the Punto Cross to be likely called as Punto Avventura.
Thanks to our friends at Anything On Wheels reader, Mr. Punit Sharma, who has snapped Punto Avventura near Fiat India’s manufacturing plant Ranjangoan in Pune, Maharashtra.
The test mule had minimal camouflage at the rear covering the spare wheel which could be clearly noticed. To differentiate the regular Punto, the Avventura will get plastic cladding on the front & rear. The ground clearance may be hiked to 10mm.
Under the hood the Punto Avventura will be powered by the 1.3 90hp Multijet engine. A Petrol option seems unlikely for the Indian market. The car will be loaded with features such as dual airbags, Blue & ME, steering controls, Fabric Insert on Door Trim & Door Arm-Rest, Follow Me Home Headlamps and Automatic Climate Control.
Fiat India will launch the Linea facelift, Punto facelift, Punto Avventura and Abarth brand in 2014.
