Datsun Go+ wins Utility Vehicle of the Year award

The affordable and spacious family wagon Datsun GO+, has been named UV of the Year at the 16th CNBC-TV18 Overdrive Awards held in New Delhi recently.

The jury comprising of renowned industry experts made their evaluation based on build quality, ride and handling, styling – interior and exterior, value-for-money, engine and transmission and fuel efficiency. The Datsun GO+ created a new market segment when it was launched as India’s first compact family wagon. The GO+ comes with 5+2 seating capacity, spacious interiors and engine capacity of 1.2 litres are the key factors which helped in clinching the award.

The Datsun GO+ is India’s first sub-4 meter Compact MPV and is offered in four variants – D, D1, A & T and five colour options. The range topping T variant to come with electronic power steering, front power windows and first in segment Mobile Docking Station.
