Tata motors have been rigorously testing the Vista facelift due in 2014.The car has been caught testing around Pune numerous times and these more clear images of the Vista have been caught on camera by Mr. Rohit Naik close to the Pune – Mumbai highway.
As a part of the HorizonNext program, Tata Motors will revamp the entire line-up of models. The Vista too will receive comprehensive updates with changes on the inside and outside. The front will bear a new set of headlights, a completely redesigned bumper, new grille which is inspired from the Manza Hybrid concept first shown at the 2012 Auto Expo.
On the Rear, Tata may ditch the current lights to cut them in line with the rear window bottom line with a sporty shorter tail lamp. On the inside the car will carry the new dashboard available on the D90 and will completely ditch the centre style dash available on the lower variants.
In terms of powertrains the hatch will continue to be powered the 1.3 Multijet in 75PS and 90PS tunes while petrol engines include the 1.2 65PS and 1.4 90 PS. Tata may continue to launch the Vista with a new CR4 engine targeted mainly towards the fleet market, which form the bulk of sales currently for the company.
