Best SUVs of 2020 perfect for monsoon season in India

The fun of driving is at its peak during the monsoon months, isn’t it? The fresh air and drizzle always excite. The excitement only rises when you have a brawny SUV at your disposal. A true adventure freak would not mind going the extra mile to procure an SUV of their taste.

The year 2020 has brought a lot of thrilling Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to the shores. While some automakers introduced all-new products, others preferred to add newer variants to their existing lines. Here are some of these SUVs that are best suited for monsoon, and for that matter, any season.

Honda WRV

Honda updated its WRV crossover with cosmetic changes to make it more appealing. The car not just impresses with its looks and comfortable interiors, but also with the option of a panoramic sunroof. It lets you enjoy the rains with a wide glass area and at the same time, keeps the water away from its underbelly with high ground clearance. The prices now start at Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). If the price seems beyond your budget, you can look for the car in the used vehicle market and buy a good conditioned WRV with a used car loan

Hyundai Venue

The sub-compact SUV from Hyundai is giving the segment leader Maruti Vitara Brezza a run for its money. The sophisticated styling, premium interiors and impressive handling made Venue a heartthrob of more than one lakh enthusiasts in just a year of its launch. Hyundai recently added an SX Plus Turbo DCT variant to the line-up. For buyers who wish to get the Hyundai SUV but have budget constraints, the same can be bought from the used car market with a second hand car loan.

Nissan Kicks

Nissan Kicks got the new BS6 compliant engines recently, and the prices dropped by up to Rs 95,000. The capable SUV gets two petrol engines – a 1.5-litre and a new 1.3-litre turbo. With the update, it gets the sleek CVT with 7-step M-Mode option. It gets features such as four airbags, 360-degree camera monitor, cruise control, auto LED headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and an 8-inch infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Skoda Karoq

Among the new entrants in the premium SUV space this year is the Skoda Karoq. This mighty SUV is one of the safest cars in the Indian market. It gets nine airbags, ABS with EBD, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) and ESP (Electronic Stability Program). Offered in a single fully-loaded variant, it gets a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox paired with the 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine.

BMW X6

The BMW X6 gives you the power of a sophisticated machine with spectacular looks and outright performance. Whether potholed-ridden city roads or open stretches of highways, the X6 can easily munch miles. If you like heading on off-road trips to the countryside, your garage deserves the X6.

Looking to enjoy the 2020 monsoon with one of these mean machines? Tata Capital can assist you with its used car loan, which is offered with affordable used car loan interest rates.
