Benelli to launch TNT 25 on the 18th of December

DSK Benelli TNT 25 launch on 18th December. First Single cyclinder and least priced motorcycle from the DSK Benelli product range.

DSK Benelli will launch the all new TNT 25 250cc motorcycle in the Indian market on the 18th of December. TNT will be the new entry model positioned below the TNT 300 which was launched a few months back.

The new quarter litre bike will sport a single cylinder 249.2cc, liquid cooled engine. The motor develops maximum power of 24.5 PS of power at 9,000 RPM and 21 Nm of torque at 7,000 RPM. The motorcycle weighs 150 kgs. The TNT 25 comes with an upside down front suspension The engine is mated to a mated to a six-speed gearbox.

DSK Benelli TNT 25  is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 1.5 to 2 Lakhs (ex-showroom) and will compete with KTM Duke 200 and Honda CBR 250R both which come with a single cylinder. This upcoming motorcycle will be assembled using the CKD kits rather than being sold as a CBU unit.

DSK Benelli currently retails five models of TNT series – Benelli TNT 300, TNT 600i, TNT 600 GT, TNT 899 and TNT 1130 R in the Indian market.

Benelli is part of the Qianjiang (QJ) Group, a corporation which produces more than 1.2 million two wheelers per annum. In India the company has joined hands with DSK Motowheels which also retails Hyosung brand of motorcycles.
