Benelli launches TNT 25, priced at Rs.1.68 lakhs

Benelli TNT 25 is the least priced offering for the Indian market and comes with a single cylinder 250cc engine.

Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Benelli which has a joint venture with DSK group in the Indian market launched the all new TNT 25 naked street motorcycle further strengthening their position in the sub 300cc segment which has seen a lot of traction in the last one year or so.

The new TNT 25 will be the least priced Benelli available on sale in the Indian market and is positioned below the TNT 300.

The TNT 25 is powered by a 249cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-stroke unit which delivers 28.16 Bhp @ 9800rpm maximum power, and 21.61 NM @ 8000rpm of maximum torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with 1 – Down, 5 – Up gear shift pattern. The kerb weight is 159 kgs and has 176 litre fuel tank.

The TNT 25 is equipped with Inverted front telescopic forks and Hydraulic Monoshock absorber rear suspension. Tyre are sourced from MRF with 110/70 – 17 front tyre and wider 150/60 – 17 at the rear. One can also opt for superior Metzeler tyres but comes at an extra price. The bike features a petal disc brake at the front and disc at the rear.

The Benelli TNT 25 is available in two colours, Rooso (red) or Bianco (white). The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 1.68 – 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Competition basket includes – Mahindra Mojo, Duke 200, Honda CBR 250 and Kawasaki Z250.
