BMW Group India launched the all-new Mini Countryman at a starting price of Rs.34.90 lakh. Available in three variants – Cooper S (Petrol), Cooper SD (Diesel) and Cooper S JCW Inspired (Petrol), this second generation MINI Countryman is manufactured at the BMW Group Plant Chennai.
The 2018 Mini Countryman has grown in size as compared to its predecessor. It is now 20 cms longer, 3 cms wider and the wheelbase has also been extended by 75 mm. The car gets a luggage capacity of 450 litres, which can be further increased to 1,309 litres by folding the rear seats.
Contrasting roof, upright rear lights, hexagonal radiator grille, large headlamps and satin-finished aluminium roof rails are other distinctly noticeable changes. The Picnic Bench that folds out of the luggage compartment to provide seating space for two is a unique feature of this car.

Similarly, Leatherette Carbon Black will be available as standard upholstery while the Leather Cross Punch Carbon Black is reserved for the MINI Countryman Cooper S JCW Inspired.
The typical MINI cockpit impresses with its clear horizontal structure, stretched lines and generously sized surfaces. The iconic circular central instrument panel is surrounded by an LED ring offering a brilliant colour display in 6.5-inch or 8.8-inch touchscreen.
