Mahindra introduced the Bolero in August 2000 and has been India’s highest selling SUV for 10 years in a row, since 2005-06 and was the only UV to feature in the top 10 sales chart for many months. Today there are over 9 lakh Boleros on the road.

The new launches and low demand in rural areas have resulted in low sales for the UV, but with good monsoon the Bolero could once again climb the top ten sales chart.
